The printer itself comes free with the wireless service. the wireless service is $47/month and can decrease as you add more printers to your account.
There is a $30.75 activation fee that will be added at checkout to cover shipping, handling and provisioning.
The printer operates like a cell phone; it has it's own internet connection so without the service it has no use. That is why we do not cell the printer by its self.
